THE GREAT LAKES CENTER FOR THE ARTS OPENED IN JULY OF 2018 AND HAS A MISSION TO INSPIRE, ENTERTAIN, EDUCATE AND SERVE ALL IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN YEAR-ROUND BY PRESENTING EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCES ACROSS THE FULL SPECTRUM OF THE PERFORMING ARTS AND OFFERING IMPACTFUL EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.

PRESENTED A DIVERSE ARRAY OF PERFORMING ARTS EVENTS WITHIN THE CENTER'S MISSION AT AFFORDABLE TICKET PRICING


CURRICULUM BASED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING EVENTS THAT SERVED OVER 4,000 STUDENTS IN 2021 AND OVER 12,000 STUDENTS SINCE THE CENTER OPENED IN 2018.


MANAGED AND OPERATED THE DOROTHY GERBER STRINGS PROGRAM, OFFERING STRINGS MUSIC EDUCATION TO YOUTH THROUGHOUT ANTRIM, CHARLEVOIX, AND EMMET COUNTIES TO INCLUDE 10 AREA SCHOOLS.
