WE PROVIDE SUPPORT TO WISCONSIN SCHOOL MUSIC ASSOCIATION (WSMA) TO INCREASE THE INVOLVEMENT OF ALL YOUTH IN MUSIC EDUCATION. WE ADMINISTER FOUR ENDOWMENTS SUPPORTING WSMA: 1) THE HONORS ENDOWMENT EARNINGS ARE USED TO SUPPORT KEEPING THE WSMA STATE HONORS MUSIC PROJECT AFFORDABLE FOR STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE; 2) THE MIKE LECKRONE ENDOWMENT FUND EARNINGS PROVIDE SUPPORT TO STUDENTS AND TEACHERS BY COVERING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE WSMA STATE MARCHING BAND CHAMPIONSHIPS; 3) THE AL JARREAU ENDOWMENT FUND WAS ESTABLISHED TO SUPPORT MILWAUKEE PUBLIC SCHOOLS STUDENTS WITH PARTICIPATION IN STATEWIDE MUSIC PROGRAMS OFFERED BY WSMA, AND 4) THE UNRESTRICTED ENDOWMENT SUPPORTS FOUNDATION PROGRAMS, PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS, REWARDS EXCELLENCE IN MUSIC EDUCATION, AND OPERATING EXPENSES.
