TO PROVIDE SAFETY AND EMPOWERMENT TO VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT AND TO WORK TO ELIMINATE SEXUAL VICTIMIZATION AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE THROUGH SHELTER, TREATMENT, EDUCATION AND SOCIAL CHANGE.

SHELTER AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. IN THEORGANIZATION'S FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED SHELTER FOR 107 ADULTS AND 77 CHILDREN FOR 2,518 SHELTER NIGHTS); HANDLED 1,244 CRISIS CALLS.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE OUTREACH SERVICES. IN THE ORGANIZATION'S FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022, 238 CLIENTS WERE PROVIDED WITH 3,408 UNITS OF INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING, 86 UNITS OF GROUP COUNSELING, AND 1612 UNITS OF ADVOCACY.
LEGAL ADVOCATES ARE AVAILABLE TO ASSIST CLIENTS IN CLARE, ISABELLA, AND GRATIOT COUNTIES. OUR LEGAL ADVOCACY PROGRAM PROVIDES FREE COURT ASSISTANCE AND RESOURCES TO SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSULT. OUR ADVCATES ASSIST WITH PERSONAL PROTECTION ORDERS(PPOS), COURT ACCOMPANIMENT, LEGAL REFERRALS (SUCH AS LEGAL AID OR PRIVATE ATTORNEYS), ADVOCACY, AND SUPPORT SERVICES.IN THE ORGANIZATIONAL FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022, 133 CLIENT WERE PROVIDED WITH 1,656 UNITS OF FACE TO FACE SERVICES, 530 CRISIS CALLS, AND 366 INSTANCES OF ADVOCACY.
