THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY PROGRAM ACTIVITY IS THE CONSTRUCTION, REHABILITATION, SALE, AND FINANCING OF HOUSES FOR INDIVIDUALS IN NEED IN WAUKESHA COUNTY. THE HOMES ARE THEN SOLD AT FAVORABLE TERMS TO QUALIFIED FAMILIES.
THE ORGANIZATION ALSO OPERATES A STORE (RESTORE) THAT SELLS RECYCLED MATERIALS, INCLUDING NEW AND USED BUILDING MATERIALS AND FURNISHINGS. SUBSTANTIALLY ALL RESTORE INVENTORY IS DONATED.
THE HOME PRESERVATION PROGRAM IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE NECESSARY HOME REPAIRS FOR HOMEOWNERS WITHIN THE AFFILIATE SERVICE AREA. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE DEMONSTRATING SIGNIFICANT NEED, PARTICULARLY OLDER ADULTS, DISABLED, VETERAN OR OTHER VULNERABLE POPULATIONS SUCH AS CHILDREN EXPOSED TO UNSAFE HOUSING CONDITIONS.
