Part 3
REHABILITATION AND HEALTH: OUR MISSION IS TO RESCUE, REHABILITATE AND PROVIDE A SAFE HAVEN FOR HORSES IN NEED OF CARE. WE WORK CLOSELY WITH OUR VETERINARY TEAM TO PROVIDE ROUTINE AND EMERGENCY CARE. GENERAL CARE INCLUDES A BI ANNUAL REVIEW PROVIDING VACCINES, BLOOD WORK, WORMING ETC. EMERGENCY CARE IS PROVIDED WHEN NEEDED INCLUDING DENTAL AND OPHTHALMOGICAL CARE. PROPER NUTRITION IS ALSO EMPHASIZED TO KEEP THE HORSES HEALTHY.
EDUCATION: WE PARTICIPATE IN EFFORTS TO EDUCATE THE POPULATION ON OUR MISSION TO CARE FOR THESE ANIMALS AND THE BENEFITS IT PROVIDES TO BOTH THE RESCUED ANIMALS AND TO PEOPLE
HONEYS FUND: IN 2018 WE CREATED HONEY'S FUND AS A MEANS TO FINANCIALLY HELP US GIVE HORSES IN NEED THE CARE THEY DESERVE. THIS YEAR WE HAD ONE HORSE WHO RECEIVED OPTHALMOLOGICAL CARE THROUGH THE HELP OF HONEY'S FUND.
