EDUCATIONAL SUICIDE PREVENTION TRAININGS AND HOSTED SUICIDE AWARENESS EVENTS HELD THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF MICHIGAN TO HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS, STUDENTS, EDUCATORS, AND THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE. BI-MONHTLY SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS ARE HELD FOR THE SUICIDE BEREAVED CONSISTING OF A FACILITATOR, LENDING LIBRARY, ART ATIVITIES, AND INFORMATIONAL PACKETS. 200 INFORMATIONAL PACKETS DISTRIBUTED THROUGHOUT THE GREAT LAKES BAY REGION. REACHING OVER 1,100 SURVIVORS OF SUICIDE LOSS AND BRINGING AWARENESS TO OVER 10,000 PEOPLE.
AFTERMATH TRAINING TO AREA PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIELD OF MENTAL HEALTH AND BEREAVEMENT SERVICES. THE TRAINING HAS EDUCATED OVER 1,500 CARE SPECIALISTS.
