GRANTS OF $282,500 EACH TO SOCIAL SERVICES DEPARTMENTS AT HENRY FORD HOSPITAL AND CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF MICHIGAN (BOTH IN DETROIT, MICHIGAN) TO FUND ITEMS AND SERVICES NOT PROVIDED FOR THROUGH ANY OTHER RESOURCES THAT HELP IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE. IN 2021, 3,977 CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES FROM CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF MICHIGAN AND HENRY FORD HOSPITAL BENEFITED FROM THE ORGANIZATION'S FUNDS FOR ITEMS SUCH AS CAB AND BUS RIDES, WELL-BEING AND MENTAL HEALTH ITEMS, APPLIANCES AND FURNITURE, ASSISTANCE WITH UTILITY PAYMENTS, PRESCRIPTIONS, MEALS, AND NUTRIENT-FORTIFIED HUMAN DONOR MILK FOR FRAGILE NEWBORNS.
