THE ORGANIZATION RAISES FUNDS THROUGH A VARIETY OF SPECIAL EVENTS TO PROVIDE A CURRENT AND FUTURE SOURCE OF FUNDING FOR ITEMS AND SERVICES THAT IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF SICK, INJURED, AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED PEDIATRIC PATIENTS WHO RECEIVE CARE FROM CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF MICHIGAN AND HENRY FORD HOSPITAL.

GRANTS OF $300,000 EACH TO SOCIAL SERVICES DEPARTMENTS AT HENRY FORD HOSPITAL AND CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF MICHIGAN TO FUND ITEMS AND SERVICES NOT PROVIDED FOR THROUGH ANY OTHER RESOURCES THAT HELP IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE. IN 2023, 5,806 CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES FROM CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF MICHIGAN AND HENRY FORD HOSPITAL BENEFITED FROM THE ORGANIZATION'S FUNDS FOR ITEMS SUCH AS CAB AND BUS RIDES, WELL-BEING AND MENTAL HEALTH ITEMS, APPLIANCES AND FURNITURE, ASSISTANCE WITH UTILITY PAYMENTS, PRESCRIPTIONS, AND RENT AND HOUSING COSTS.
