RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OF OHIO VALLEY IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT IS DEDICATED TO FULFILLING ITS MISSION THROUGH CORE PROGRAMS. THE MISSION OF RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OF THE OHIO VALLEY (RMHCOV) IS TO CREATE, FIND AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS THAT DIRECTLY IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE CORE PROGRAMS OF RMHCOV INCLUDE TWO RONALD MCDONALD HOUSES LOCATED IN EVANSVILLE, THE HAPPY WHEELS CART PROGRAM, AND THE GRANTS PROGRAM THANKS TO A RESTRICTED GIFT FROM MCDONALD'S OWNERS/OPERATORS. THE FOLLOWING CORE VALUES ARE UTILIZED TO CARRY OUT THE RMHCOV MISSION: LEADING WITH COMPASSION, FOCUSING ON THE CRITICAL NEEDS OF CHILDREN, CELEBRATING THE DIVERSITY OF OUR PEOPLE AND PROGRAMS, VALUING OUR HERITAGE AND OPERATING WITH ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY.

RMHC OF THE OHIO VALLEY OPERATES A HOME IN EVANSVILLE, INDIANA. THIS HOME PROVIDES A "HOME AWAY FROM HOME" FOR FAMILIES OF SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN WHILE THOSE CHILDREN RECEIVE MEDICAL CARE AT LOCAL HEALTH CARE FACILITIES.
