FAMILIES WHO HAVE A CHILD WHO IS SICK OR HAS BEEN INJURED, NEEDS TREATMENT OR THERAPY, OR WAS BORN EARLY, TRAVEL TO COLUMBIA, MO TO RECEIVE MEDICAL CARE FOR THEIR CHILD. THEY STAY AT THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE BECAUSE IT IS INEXPENSIVE, COMFORTABLE AND CLOSE TO WHERE THEIR CHILD IS RECEIVING CARE. FAMILIES COME TO OUR HOUSE FROM ALL OVER MISSOURI AND THE UNITED STATES. THROUGH OUR HAPPY WHEELS CART PROGRAM AT CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, WE SERVE THOUSANDS OF INDIVIDUALS, PROVIDING HEALTHY SNACKS, PERSONAL CARE ITEMS, TOYS AND OTHER TREATS.
