THE CORE PROGRAM OF THE GUEST HOUSE IS TO PROVIDE CONVENIENT AND AFFORDABLE TEMPORARY LODGING TO OUTPATIENTS AND THE FAMILIES OF PATIENTS WHO MUST SEEK TREATMENT AWAY FROM HOME. LOCATED IN THE ILLINOIS MEDICAL DISTRICT, IT IS THE ONLY FACILITY IN THE CHICAGO AREA OPEN TO PATIENTS OF ALL AGES, AND THAT SUPPORTS PATIENTS RECEIVING ANY TYPE OF TREATMENT. IN 2021, THE GUEST HOUSE SUPPORTED 602 FAMILIES, AND DELIVERED 9,031 NIGHTS OF SERVICE. IT IS THE POLICY OF IMD GUEST HOUSE TO NEVER TURN FAMILIES AWAY FOR LACK OF FUNDS. IN 2021, GUESTS RECEIVED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE ON MORE THAN 80% OF OUR NIGHTS OF SERVICE.
