RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OF CENTRAL ILLINOIS (RMHCCI) PROVIDES A SUPPORTIVE PLACE FOR FAMILIES TO STAY WHILE THEIR CHILD IS RECEIVING MEDICAL CARE, AND SUPPORTS PROGRAMS THAT DIRECTLY IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF CHILDREN. RMHCCI HAS OPERATED A RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE LOCATED IN SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS, FOR OVER 32 YEARS. IN 2018, RMHCCI BROKE GROUND ON A NEW 40,000 SQUARE FOOT RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE IN PEORIA, ILLINOIS THAT OPENED IN LATE 2019.

RMHCCI CURRENTLY OPERATES TWO RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE (RMH) PROGRAMS IN SPRINGFIELD AND PEORIA WHICH KEEPS FAMILIES CLOSE TOGETHER WHILE THEIR CHILD IS RECEIVING MEDICAL TREATMENT. FAMILIES ARE ABLE TO STAY AT THE RMH FOR AS LONG AS NEEDED FREE OF CHARGE. OTHER AMENITIES PROVIDED AT THE HOUSES INCLUDE MEALS, WI-FI, LAUNDRY, AND MORE.
