CANINE THERAPY CORPS EMPOWERS AND MOTIVATES INDIVIDUALS TO IMPROVE THEIR PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING BY HARNESSING THE HUMA-ANIMAL BOND. THEY PROVIDE GOAL-DIRECTED, INTERACTIVE ANIMAL-ASSISTED THERAPY SERVICES FREE OF CHARGE USING VOLUNTEERS AND CERTIFIED THERAPY DOGS AND ADVANCES ANIMAL-ASSISTED INTERVENTIONS THROUGH RESEARCH AND COLLABORATION. THEY ALSO PROVIDE TRAINING FOR THE VOLUNTEERS AND THE THERAPY DOGS.

PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 894 HOURS OF ANIMAL ASSISTED INTERVENTION SERVICES TO INSTITUTIONS AND CLIENTS FREE OF CHARGE. CERTIFIED 14 NEW DOG TEAMS AND SERVED AROUND 7,550 PEOPLE. ADDITIONALLY, WE RESUMED THERAPY SERVICES AT SHIRLEY RYAN ABILITYLAB AND SWEDISH HOSPITAL WHICH HAD BEEN ON HIATUS DUE TO COVID.
