THE ORGANIZATION PRIMARILY PROVIDED LONG-TERM RESIDENTIAL CARE TO PERSONS WITH CHRONIC ILLNESS OR DISABILITY IN A HEALTH CARE CENTER (FORMERLY REFERRED TO AS A NURSING HOME).
ODYSSEY HOUSE PROGRAM - PROVIDES A SAFE, AFFORDABLE AND HEALTHY SOBER LIVING ENVIRONMENT FOR ADULT MALES WHO HAVE RECENTLY BEEN RELEASED FROM INCARCERATION FOR DRUG OR ALCOHOL ABUSE. THE GOAL IS TO SUCCESSFULLY TRANSITION INDIVIDUALS BACK INTO THE COMMUNITY WITH A FOCUS OF SOBER LIVING, EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION AND FAMILY THROUGH THE USE OF A 12 STEP PROGRAM.
THERAPY AND CLINICAL SERVICES: DEVELOPMENT OF AN EVIDENCE-BASED TREATMENT PLAN BY DEVELOPING A DIAGNOSTIC IMPRESSION AND CLINICAL TREATMENT PLAN DRIVEN BY DSM IV AND DSM V. CLIENTS ARE INTERVIEWED AND ASSESSED BY LICENSES MASTER'S LEVEL THERAPISTS, LICENSE-ELIGIBLE MASTER'S LEVEL THERAPISTS, A LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST AND HSPP, AND DOCTORAL PSYCHOLOGY INTERNS WORKING UNDER THE HSPP TO PROVIDE DIAGNOSTIC AND EVALUATION SERVICES. BASED ON THIS INITIAL INTERVIEW AND ASSESSMENT, THE THERAPISTS WILL MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING NEED FOR FURTHER REVIEW WHICH MAY INCLUDE PSYCHOSEXUAL ASSESSMENT, PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING AND/OR TRAUMA ASSESSMENT.
