CONSISTS OF A FOOD PANTRY PROVIDING 30,366 MEALS THROUGH GROCERIS FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN NEED. ALL OF THE RECEIPIENTS OF OUR FOOD PANTRY HAVE INCOMES BELOW THE FEDERAL POVERTY LINE. HOT MEALS ARE SERVED ON SITE MONDAY-FRIDAY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO ALL WHO ARE HUNGRY. MEALS ARE PROVIDED BY VOLUNTEER GROUPS.
THIS FREE THRIFT STORE PROVIDES CLOTHING, BLANKETS, SMALL HOUSEHOLD ITEMS AND PERSONAL HYGIENE KITS TO SHOPPERS, FREE OF CHARGE. DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON, SEASONAL DONATIONS OF NEW TOYS AND CLOTHING ARE MADE TO THE PROGRAM SO PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS WERE ABLE TO SHOP FOR PRESENTS FOR NEIGHBORHOOD CHILDREN.
PROVIDES EDUCATION IN A CLASSROOM SETTING FOR CHILDREN AGES 3-5. FAMILIES SERVED HAVE INCOMES BELOW THE FEDERAL POVERTY LINE. TUITION IS ON A SLIDING FEE SCALE WITH MOST FAMILIES PAYING $20/WEEK. THE PROGRAM RUNS FROM AUGUST THROUGH MAY AND PREPARES CHILDREN FOR KINDERGARTEN. THIS IS AN UNLICENSED REGISTERED MINISTRY CURRENTLY AT LEVEL 3 PATHS TO QUALITY. PRESCHOOL INCLUDES 2 FULL DAY CLASSES M-F 9-4. IN ADDITION TO CLASS WORK THE STUDENTS RECEIVE HEALTHY BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND SNACK.
