THE ABOVE COSTS WERE ASSOCIATED WITH A WEEKLY SALE OF DONATED BOOKS TO RAISE FUNDS WHICH SUPPORT PROGRAMS OFFERED BY THE MONROE COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY.
TO ASSIST WITH PROGRAMS AND SERVICES FOR MONROE COUNTY RESIDENTS THROUGH THE MONROE COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY. IN 2021, MCPL UTILIZED THE GRANT TO PURCHASE COLLECTIONS REQUESTED BY PATRONS, TO SUPPORT THE VITAL TUTORING PROGRAM FOR ADULT LEARNERS, FINANCIAL AND INVESTOR EDUCATION NEEDS OF LIBRARY PATRONS, TO PURCHASE NEEDED EQUIPMENT FOR ADULT, TEEN AND CHILDREN SERVICES PROGRAMS, AND TO ASSSIST WITH PROGRAMS FOR DIGITAL CREATIVITY, MATH HOMEWORK HELP, SUMMER AND READ ACROSS AMERICA READING PRGRAMS, PUBLIC AWARENESS DIVERSITY AND NATIONAL AND LOCAL LIBRAY CELEBRATIONS PROGRAMS, AND FOR STAFF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
