TO BE A SAFE SANCTUARY, OFFERING COMPASSIONATE AND EMPOWERING SERVICES TO HEAL THE EFFECT OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSUALT AND SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS, SERVING MORE THAN 1,000 PEOPLE IN SW MISSOURI ANNUALLY.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT AND SUBSTANCE USE TREATMENT SERVICES: PROVIDE DIRECT CARE SERVICES FOR 925 PEOPLE, PROVIDING 3,089 NIGHTS OF SHELTER FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE/SEXUAL ASSAULT VICTIMS, 4,809 DAYS OF SUBSTANCE USE TREATMENT SERVICES. 91% OF THOSE SERVED HAD INCOMES BELOW POVERTY LEVELS AND PAID NO FEES FOR CARE.
SECOND CHANCES: A RESALE SHOP ACCEPTING DONATIONS OF CLOTHING AND SMALL HOUSEWARES. 258 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED FREE ITEMS TO MEET THEIR IMMEDIATE NEEDS. WE ASSIST YOUNG FEMALE ADULTS WHO ARE RECEIVING SERVICES AT A LOCAL NON-PROFIT, LOVING GRACE. SOME WERE CHILDREN RECEIVING EMERGENCY RESPITE CARE AT ANOTHER LOCAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION CHIDREN'S HAVEN. THE REMAINDER WERE CLIENTS OF LAFAYETTE HOUSE SHELTER AND TREATMENT SERVICES.
