THE GREENHOUSE-IN-A-BOX:UNDER THIS PROGRAM, KHEYTI HELPS SMALLHOLDER FARMERS BECOME CLIMATE RESILIENT BY PROVIDING THEM ACCESS TO LOW-COST GREENHOUSE TECHNOLOGIES AND GIVING THEM FREE TRAINING, EDUCATION, AND MARKET ACCESS SERVICES. THE PROGRAM WAS LAUNCHED IN 2017 AND REACHED 1,000 FARMERS BY THE END OF 2022. IT AIMS TO EXPAND ITS REACH TO 4,000 FARMERS IN 2024 AND 1 MILLION OVER THE NEXT 10 YEARS. THE PROGRAM COSTS INCURRED IN THE US PRIMARILY INCLUDE CONSULTING COSTS FOR DESIGN, ENGINEERING AND PROGRAM. SINCE A MAJOR PART OF ITS ACTIVITY IS CARRIED OUT THROUGH ITS 100% OWNED SUBSIDIARY IN INDIA, ADDITIONAL COSTS OF THE PROGRAM HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE REPORTING OF THE SUBSIDIARY.
