WE PAY A LAWYER EACH MONTH WHO MEETS WITH THE LOCAL CITY GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS TO COMMUNICATE OUR GOALS (PAY, BENEFITS, AND WORK CONDITIONS) AND ALSO ATTENDS MEETINGS TO KEEP US AWARE OF CHANGES BEING MADE BY THE CITY OFFICIALS. WE PAY A RETAINER EACH MONTH TO A LAW FIRM WHO REPRESENTS OUR MEMBERS IN BOTH ADMINISTRATIVE GRIEVANCES AND CRIMINAL DEFENSE IF NECESSARY. WE HAVE PAID FOR OUR MEMBERS TO OBTAIN SEVERAL TRAINING COURSES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO BETTER THEIR SKILLS AND ABILITIES.
