COMMUNICATING FOR SAFETY - COMMUNICATING FOR SAFETY IS THE AVIATION INDUSTRY'S LEADING CONFERENCE FOCUSING ON SAFETY, TECHNOLOGY AND BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER AVIATION PROFESSIONALS. THIS THREE DAY CONFERENCE IS UNIQUE IN THAT IT'S THE ONLY CONFERENCE OF ITS KIND TO FOCUS SPECIFICALLY ON THE AIR TRAFFIC NEEDS OF ALL MEMBERS OF THE AVIATION COMMUNITY WHO ARE AFFECTED BY THE NATIONAL AIRSPACE SYSTEM


ADVOCACY PROJECTS - SPECIAL PROJECTS SEEKING TO ADVANCE THE STATUS,PROFESSIONALISM AND WORKING CONDITIONS OF ALL AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS (PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTOR) AND OTHER AVIATION SAFETY RELATED EMPLOYEES REGARDLESS OF UNION MEMBERSHIP.


LEADERSHIP SCHOOL - NATCA DEVELOPED THE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY TO PROVIDE SPECIFIC PROGRAMS TO MEET THE LEADERSHIP NEEDS OF NATCA AT THE LOCAL AND REGIONAL LEVEL. PARTICIPANTS WILL GATHER TO DISCUSS NEW STRATEGIES ON DIVERSE TOPICS SUCH AS INTERNAL ORGANIZING, NATIONAL AND LOCAL CONSTITUTIONS, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT, CONTRACTUAL ISSUES, COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AND NEGOTIATIONS, WRITING GRIEVANCES, IMPROVING COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND HEALTH & SAFETY ISSUES.
