POLICY/PROGRAM:- DEVELOPED AND IMPLEMENTED FOUR TASK FORCES FOR THE REVISION OF PRACTICE STANDARDS IN CLINICAL SOCIAL WORK, LONG TERM CARE, SCHOOL SOCIAL WORK, AND PALLIATIVE AND END OF LIFE CARE- PARTICIPATED IN OVER 50 COALITIONS AND STAKEHOLDER GROUPS- REPRESENTED NASW AND THE SOCIAL WORK PROFESSION IN MULTIDISCIPLINARY WORKGROUPS WORKING ON NATIONAL CODING PROCESS TO DEVELOP NEW AND REVISED CODES FOR REIMBURSEMENT AS WELL AS REVIEW OF REIMBURSEMENT VALUES- PROVIDED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO MEMBERS, EMPLOYERS, AND CHAPTERS- HELD THE 2022 NATIONAL CONFERENCE, FIRST IN-PERSON CONFERENCE IN FOUR YEARS- DELIVERED OVER 70,000 HOURS OF TRAINING, LIVE AND ON-DEMAND, THROUGH THE NASW CE INSTITUTE- PROVIDED INPUT ON NUMEROUS CONGRESSIONAL BILLS AND REGULATORY PROPOSALS- NASW'S ADVOCACY IN COALITION WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS YIELDED SIGNIFICANT REFORMS TO THE PUBLIC SERVICE LOAN FORGIVENESS (PSLF) PROGRAM THROUGH IMPLEMENTATION OF A PSLF WAIVER- ADVANCED THE IMPROVING ACCESS TO MENTAL HEALTH ACT BY OBTAINING ADDITIONAL CO-SPONSORS IN THE 117TH CONGRESS AND 2 OF 3 PROVISIONS WERE INCLUDED IN SENATE FINANCE COMMITTEE WORKFORCE DRAFT LEGISLATION.
