CRITTER BARN IS AN EDUCATIONAL FARM DEDICATED TO INSPIRING PEOPLE OF ALL AGES AND ALL ABILITIES THROUGH THE MIRACLES IN NATURE FOUND AT THE FARM.

OUR PROGRAMMING BUDGET IS 69.4% OF OUR TOTAL EXPENSES. CHILDREN ARE TAUGHT AT THE FARM IN CLASSES FOR DIFFERENT AGE-LEVELS, SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS, AND SEASONAL PROGRAMMING. WE TRAIN OUR STUDENTS TO SHARE WHAT THEY KNOW WITH OUR VISITORS. CHILDREN AND YOUTH VOLUNTEER TO CARE FOR THE ANIMALS AND ENHANCE VISITOR EXPERIENCES. IN 2022, 256 CHILDREN ATTENDED CRITTER CAMP, WHICH IS A PREREQUISITE TO THE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM, CRITTER CREW, AND 1,052 CHILDREN ENROLLED IN OTHER SUMMER AND YEAR-ROUND CLASSES. IN 2022, 4,410 CHILDREN ATTENDED SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS, AND AN ESTIMATED 80,653 PEOPLE ATTENDED TRAVELING FARM EVENTS. OUR BARNYARD CREW PROGRAM SERVES PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. THE PROGRAM HAD 10 CHILDREN AND YOUTH, PLUS 19 ADULTS VOLUNTEER WEEKLY IN 2022. 200+ ADULTS VOLUNTEERED THROUGH COURT DIRECTED COMMUNITY SERVICE IN 2022. THE CRITTER BARN HAS BEEN SERVING THE PUBLIC SINCE 1990.
