SERVICE PROJECTS: LOCAL SERVICE PROJECT - SUPPORT OF SELECTED LOCAL CHARITABLE OPPORTUNITIES. MARDI GRAS PROFITS FROM FEBRUARY/MARCH 2020 WERE CONTRIBUTED TO MUSTARD SEED AND EUELL WILSON CENTER, TWO LOCAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. IN ADDITION, SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED FOR INTERACT STUDENTS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO RAISED MONEY FOR PPE (PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT) FOR LOCAL HOSPITALS AND NONPROFIT HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS IN SPRING 2020. INTERNATIONAL SERVICE PROJECT - PROVIDE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGES: ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE - SPONSORED ONE INBOUND AND ONE OUTBOUND INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE STUDENT TO PROMOTE INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING. YOUTH PROGRAMS: ROTARY YOUTH LEADERSHIP AWARDS (RYLA) - AN INTENSIVE TRAINING PROGRAM FOR COMMUNITY YOUTH LEADERS. A GROUP OF YOUNG PEOPLE CHOSEN FOR THEIR LEADERSHIP POTENTIAL ATTENDED AN ALL-EXPENSES-PAID WORKSHOP TO DISCUSS LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND TO LEARN THOSE SKILLS THROUGH PRACTICE. CLEO FOX AWARDS - ENCOURAGE INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC ACHIEVEMENT IN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS BY AWARDING SCHOLARSHIPS TO SUMMER MUSIC PROGRAMS. STUDENT ROTARIAN PROGRAM - INVITE APPROXIMATELY 6 STUDENTS TO ATTEND ROTARY MEETINGS ONE MONTH PER YEAR TO REWARD EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT, FOSTER CAREER DEVELOPMENT, AND PROMOTE SERVICE ABOVE SELF. ONE STUDENT IS SELECTED TO RECEIVE A 1,000 SCHOLARSHIP. WORLD AFFAIRS CONFERENCE - SPONSORED STUDENTS TO ATTEND CONFERENCE ON WORLD AFFAIRS.
