SYSTEMS BUILDING - THE COUNCIL SEEKS TO DEVELOP A SUSTAINABLE EARLY CHILDHOOD SYSTEM, WHICH INCLUDES: (1) PROVIDING TRAINING TO LOCAL CARE PROVIDERS; (2) RAISING COMMUNITY AWARENESS OF EARLY CHILDHOOD ISSUES; (3) COLLABORATING WITH LOCAL STAKEHOLDERS.
COLORADO SHINES - THE COUNCIL SUPPORTS CHILD CARE PROGRAMS IN ACCESSING AND UTILIZING THE RESOURCES AVAILABLE THROUGH THE COLORADO SHINES RATING & IMPROVEMENT SYSTEM.
THE MATERNAL, INFANT, AND EARLY CHILDHOOD HOME VISITING PROGRAM GIVES PREGNANT WOMEN AND FAMILIES, PARTICULARLY THOSE CONSIDERED AT-RISK, NECESSARY RESOURCES AND SKILLS TO RAISE CHILDREN WHO ARE PHYSICALLY, SOCIALLY, AND EMOTIONALLY HEALTHY AND READY TO LEARN.
