PROMOTE AND PROJECT SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE AGRICULTURE IN OREGON, WHILE WORKING TO SUPPORT INDEPENDENT, FAMILY SCALE FARMERS AND RACHERS WHO ARE ECOLOGICALLY FARMING IN WAYS THAT ARE RESPECTFUL OF LAND, ANIMALS AND COMMUNITY.

FRIENDS OF FAMILY FARMERS (FOFF) IS OREGON'S ONLY STATEWIDE ADVOCATE FOR SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FAMILY FARMERS AND RANCHERS, AND THE CONSUMERS THAT SUPPORT THEM. IN 2023, WE ADVOCATED FOR STRONGER REGULATIONS ON FACTORY FARMS, GREW OUR ONE-ON-ONE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR BIPOC FARMERS SEEKING LAND, EDUCATED THE PUBLIC ON FARMER PRIORITIES THROUGH INFARMATIONS AND WEBINARS, PARTICIPATED IN THE OREGON COMMUNITY FOOD SYSTEMS NETWORK AND OPERATIONALIZED OUR COMMITMENTS TO EQUITY IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR THROUGH POLICY CHANGE. WE HAVE CONTINUED TO EXPAND OUR OREGON PASTURE NETWORK TO INCLUDE MORE PASTURE BASED ANIMAL PRODUCERS AROUND THE STATE AND OFFER EDUCATIONAL CLASSES TO IMPROVE PRACTICES. OUR PROGRAM OREGON FARM LINK CONTINUED THE ONE-ON-ONE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE WITH THE EXPANSION OF THE NAVIGATE PROGRAM IN ADDITION TO THE NORMAL FUNCTION OF CONNECTING LAND SEEKERS WITH LAND HOLDERS TO ADVANCE OREGON'S AGRICULTURAL FUTURE.
