MY CHOICE PREGNANCY CENTER SERVED 96 WOMEN, MEN AND CHILDREN PROVIDING NUTRITION, PRENATAL EDUCATION, CASE MANAGEMENT, FOOD, FORMULA, DIAPERS, AND REFERRAL SERVICES TO THOSE IN THE COMMUNITY TO ENSURE A HEALTHY PREGNANCY, SAFE DELIVERY, AND POSITIVE PARENTING EXPERIENCE. OF THE 72 WOMEN SERVED, 79% DELIVERED HEALTHY NEWBORN INFANTS, AT AN APPROPRIATE GESTATIONAL AGE, AND OF NORMAL BIRTH WEIGHT. 63 WOMEN AND 6 MEN PARTICIPATED IN AN AVERAGE OF FIVE CLASSES CONSISTING OF PRENATAL NUTRITION, CHILD SAFETY, NEWBORN CARE, BREAST FEEDING AND EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT FOR A TOTAL OF 345 CLASSES.
ANGELS ATTIC- MATERIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM RECEIVES DONATIONS OF HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, FURNITURE AND CHILDREN'S ITEMS WHICH ARE THEN RE-GIFTED TO THE MOMS AND CHILDREN IN THE COMMUNITY OR DONATED TO OTHER PROGRAMS LOCALLY.
