Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
IN THE 2021 PROGRAM YEAR, COPE WAS ABLE TO INCREASE OUR VIRTUAL WELLNESS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS PARTICIPATION TO OVER 250. WE ALSO PARTICIPATED IN TESTING AND OUTREACH CAMPAIGNS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR IN A LIMITED CAPACITY, DUE TO COVID-19. WE PARTNERED WITH OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS AS WELL AS WELLNESS GROUPS. OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS, COPE HAS HAD TO SHIFT ITS PROGRAMMING MODEL TO BE MORE ACCOMMODATING OF VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING. AS A RESULT, WE HAVE INCREASED THE NUMBER OF SERVICES WE OFFER THROUGH VIRTUAL MEETINGS AND WORKSHOPS. OUR WELLNESS GROUPS NOW INCLUDE BREATHWORK AND MEDIATION, YOGA, ARTWORK THERAPY, ONE-ON-ONE COUNSELING, AND AFRICAN DANCE. WE HAVE RECEIVED NUMEROUS PARTICIPANT REVIEWS ON THE BENEFITS OUR CLIENTS HAVE FOUND IN THEIR PERSONAL LIVES SINCE IMPLEMENTING THE SKILLS LEARNED AT OUR WORKSHOPS. WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RE-CONNECT WITH MANY PARTICIPANTS THAT COULD NO LONGER TRAVEL TO OUR OFFICES, NOW THAT WE HAVE GONE REMOTE WITH OUR GROUPS.
