THE COALITION EDUCATES ITS MEMBERS ON RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN THE HEALTH CARE INDUSTRY THROUGH VARIOUS PUBLICATIONS, MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS AND THROUGH ITS WEBSITE. THE COALITION HAS DEVELOPED A DATA NETWORK IN ORDER TO ANALYZE AND DISSEMINATE STATISTICAL DATA AND INFORMATION REGARDING THE CLAIMS EXPERIENCE, COSTS AND UTILIZATION RATES OF ITS VARIOUS MEMBER FUNDS. THIS INFORMATION CAN BE SHARED WITH OFFICIALS OF THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT AND OTHER HEALTH CARE SERVICES IN CONNECTICUT. THE COALITION HAS PROMOTED THE LONG-TERM SURVIVAL OF THE HEALTH FUNDS REGULATED BY THE TAFT-HARTLEY ACT.
