SUCCESSFULLY ADVOCATED FOR THE PASSAGE OF TRAVIS' LAW REQUIRING 911 CALL CENTERS TO DEFLECT MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS CALLS TO MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS RESPONDERS RATHER THAN LAW ENFORCEMENT. PROVIDED WORKSHOPS TO TRAIN COUNTY OFFICIALS ON IMPLEMENTATION OF TRAVIS' LAW. GOT CITY OF MINNEAPOLIS TO ADOPT A BAN ON NO-KNOCK WARRANTS. CANVASSED AND COLLECTED 1500 EXPERIENCES TO INFORM THE DOJ AND MDHR IN THEIR INVESTIGATIONS OF THE MINNEAPOLIS POLICE. HELD 24 EVENTS IN THE COMMUNITY TO EDUCATE ABOUT THE INVESTIGATIONS IN THE MPD. PREPARED AN ANALYSIS OF THE HILLARD HEINTZ AFTER ACTION REPORT. CONTINUED TO OPERATE OUR 24-HOUR HOTLINE AND THE REST OF OUR ONGOING PROGRAMMATIC WORK.
