TO ENABLE WOMEN TO FULFILL THEIR MAXIMUM POTENTIAL IN THE BOARD ROOM, THE C-SUITE, AS ENTREPRENEURS, AND AS LEADING EDGE PROFESSIONALS IN THEIR CHOSEN PROFESSION.

W.O.M.E.N. IN AMERICA (WIA, 501C3) IS IN ITS 15TH YEAR OF MENTORING AND ADVANCING WOMEN LEADERS. COMMUNITY IS COMPRISED OF THREE POPULATIONS OF WOMEN WHO ARE ALL COMMITTED TO SUPPORTING ONE ANOTHER'S SUCCESS. WIA MENTEES ARE WOMEN WITH 10-15 YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE WHO HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED AS HIGH POTENTIAL WITH THE DESIRE TO ACCELERATE THEIR CAREERS. WIA ALUMNAE ARE WOMEN WHO HAVE COMPLETED THE WIA PROGRAM AND CHOSEN TO STAY ACTIVE WITH OUR ORGANIZATION, PAYING IT FORWARD TO ONE ANOTHER AND OUR MENTEES.WIA MENTORS ARE ACCOMPLISHED EXECUTIVES WHO COME TOGETHER WITH A COMMON GOAL OF HELPING PROPEL MORE WOMEN INTO C-SUITES, BOARD ROOMS, AND POSITIONS OF INFLUENCE.THESE WOMEN COME TOGETHER AT WIA EVENTS AND PROGRAMS INCLUDING:MENT-MIXES WHICH ARE A KEY PART OF OUR WIA PROGRAMMING FOR MENTEES AND MENTORS. THESE EVENTS INCLUDE A PRESENTATION ON A CORE CURRICULUM TOPIC FOLLOWED BY NETWORKING.POP-UPS BRING OUR COMMUNITY TOGETHER PERIODICALLY FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN FROM A PROMINENT WOMAN IN BUSINESS ON A TIMELY TOPIC AND SPEND TIME NETWORKING. WIA'S ANNUAL RETREAT WEEKEND BRINGING TOGETHER ALL OUR POPULATIONS OF WOMEN FOR AN EXTRAORDINARY OPPORTUNITY TO CONNECT, NETWORK AND SHARE IN A RELAXED SETTING.VIRTUAL LEARNING THROUGH SMALL GROUP PRESENTATIONS AND PROBLEM-SOLVING DISCUSSIONS. CLUSTERS WHICH ARE SMALL GROUP MENTORING SESSIONS HELD QUARTERLY AT A MENTOR'S OFFICE OR HOME.WE HAVE AN ACTIVE ALUMNAE GROUP WHO CREATES PROGRAMMING AND COMMUNITY BUILDING ACTIVITIES FOR THE COMMUNITY OF ACTIVE ALUMNAE.
