THE 567 CENTER FOR RENEWAL HOSTED 303 ART CLASSES THROUGH 2022. IN ADDITION, THERE WAS AN OPENING TO SHOW ART EXHIBITS ALMOST EVERY MONTH OF THE YEAR FOR 11 TOTAL. THE 567 CENTER FOR RENEWAL ALSO ENCOURAGED ENGAGEMENT WITH ART THROUGH PUBLIC ART PROGRAMS IN 2022. IT BROUGHT 3 NEW SCULPTURES TO MACON FOR OUTDOOR ENJOYMENT THROUGH THE MACON SCULPTURE WALK AND HOSTED AN ART SCAVENGER HUNT TO FIND MURALS AND SCULPTURES. THE 567 CENTER FOR RENEWAL HAS A SHARED POTTERY STUDIO THAT ARTISTS CAN USE TO WORK IN AT A DISCOUNTED PRICE. THE STUDIO INCLUDES ALL OF THE SUPPLIES, TOOLS, AND EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO CREATE POTTERY. IN 2022, 30 ARTISTS TOOK ADVANTAGE OF OUR POTTERY STUDIO TO CREATE ARTWORK AND PRACTICE THEIR CRAFT. THE 567 CENTER FOR RENEWAL ALSO PROVIDED ART EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH A 3-DAY ART FESTIVAL THAT IT ORGANIZED IN 2022. THE FESTIVAL OFFERED ART DEMONSTRATIONS IN A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT ART MEDIUMS, INCLUDING POTTERY, GLASS ART, WOOD BURNING AND METAL WORKING.
