HAWAII EUROPEAN CINEMA PARTNERED WITH LUXURY ROW CINEMAS TO PROVIDE A FILM FESTIVAL THAT IS ON PAR WITH SAN FRANCISCO AND LOS ANGELES FILM FESTIVALS. EMULATING THE CANNES FILM FESTIVAL THE AWARDS GALA BECAME A PREMIER EVENT OF THE YEAR AND IS COVERED BY LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL PRESS. HAWAII EUROPEAN CINEMA CONTINUES TO FOSTER THE CULTURAL EXCHANGE BETWEEN EUROPEANS AND HAWAIIANS THROUGH FILM. ADDITIONALLY, HAWAII EUROPEAN CINEMA PROVIDES FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO LOCAL STUDENT FILMMAKERS GIVING THEM INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE.
