THE PURPOSE OF THE KOREAN COMMUNITY SERVICE CENTER IS TO ENHANCE SOCIAL SERVICES FOR THE WELFARE OF KOREAN AMERICAN FAMILIES IN THE STATE OF WASHINGTON AND TO SERVE THE INTERESTS OF THE KOREAN-AMERICAN COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING EDUCATION, COUNSELING , LEGAL AID , AND INFORMATION AND REFERRAL SERVICES.

PROVIDED SOCIAL SERVICES TO KOREAN-AMERICAN COMMUNITY INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LEGAL AND FAMILY COUNSELING, YOUTH COUNSELING, TRANSLATION, CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY PROGRAM, ASSIST LOW INCOME FAMILIES/SENIORS AND HANDLE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. REFERRALS ARE MADE TO LEGAL AND MEDICAL SPECIALISTS IN CERTAIN CASES. OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS THAT OFFER A BASIC ENGLISH COURSE FOR ADULTS.
