THE IOWA CHAPTER IS A MEMBER ORGANIZATION COMPRISED OF CHILDRENS ADVOCACY CENTERS. THE CHAPTER SERVES AS THE LEADING RESOURCE WITHIN THE STATE OF IOWA FOR CHILDRENS ADVOCACY CENTERS AND FACILITATES A NETWORK DEDICCATED TO A COORDINATED AND COMPREHENSIVE RESPONSE TO CHILD ABUSE. IT EMPHASIZES THE COORDIANTION OF INVESTIGATION AND INTERVENTION SERVICES BY BRINGING TOGETHER PROFESSIONALS AND AGENCIES AS A MULTIPDSCIPLINARY TEAM TO CREATE A CHILD-FOCUSED APPROACH TO CHILD ABUSE CASES.
