IN 2023 THE SANTA BARBARA BIRTH CENTER WAS OPERATING FULLTIME, RECEIVING 53 ADMISSIONS, PERFORMING/MANAGING 51 BIRTHS AND WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE SEVEN SUBSIDIES FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES. IN ADDITION, THE BIRTH CENTER PROVIDED A VENUE FOR COMMUNITY MEETINGS CONSISTENT WITH OUR MISSION STATEMENT, A FULL LIBRARY AND CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION CLASSES.
