GREEN CHIPS IS SOUTHERN NEVADA'S LEADING SUSTAINABILITY VOICE CREATING INNOVATIVE PARTNERSHIPS AMONG BUSINESSES, GOVERNMENT, AND NON-PROFITS THROUGH EDUCATION, COMMUNITY PROJECTS, AND COLLABORATION.

THE SHARED FUTURE FUND IS A FIRST OF ITS KIND IMPACT FUND MODEL THAT SEEKS TO UPLIFT THE REGION'S MOST VULNERABLE WOMEN AND CHILDREN BY ADDRESSING THE MOST PRESSING SOCIAL ISSUES THAT PREVENT THEM FROM REALIZING THEIR POTENTIAL TO LEAD HEALTH AND FULFILLING LIVES. WE HAVE INVESTED IN DEVELOPING THE STRATEGY FOR THE FUND AND STARTING WITH THE STRATEGY ON HOW TO ADDRESS HUMAN TRAFFICKING FIRST AND FOREMOST.
IMPACT NV CONTINUES TO WORK ON THE SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY AREAS OF IMMIGRATION, HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND HOMELESSNESS. INITIATIVES INCLUDE SITTING ON THE NEVADA HOMELESSNESS POLICY COUNCIL, CREATING AN IMMIGRATION INTEGRATION TOOLKIT TO PROVIDE RESOURCES AND TO EDUCATE NEW NEVADAMS IN THE AREAS OF HEALTH, EDUCATION, WORKFORCE, FINANCIAL LITERACY, LANGUAGE ACCESS, LEGAL RESOURCES, COMMUNITY CONNECTION AND MORE. IMPACT NV WAS AWARDED A GRANT BY UNITED WAY WORLDWIDE AND UNITED WAY OF SOUTHERN NV TO CONTINUE THE HUMAN TRAFFICKING COALITION BUILDING IN THE REGION AND THE CREATION OF A HUMAN TRAFFICKING POLICY COUNCIL.
THE STATE OF SUSTAINABILITY INTERACTIVE DATA PORTAL IS AN EVOLUTION OF OUR HARDCOPY PUBLISHED STATE OF SUSTAINABILITY REPORT FROM PREVIOUS YEARS. IT IS AN INTERACTIVE ONLINE DATA PORTAL OF METRICS, TRENDS, AND GRAPHS OF INFORMATION FEATURING EIGHT PILLARS FOR A SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY. IT IS UPDATED IN REAL TIME AND ALLOWS VISITORS TO COMPARE NEVADA TO OTHER COMMUNITIES AND STATES ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND EVALUATE HOW WE ARE DOING, IN ORDER TO CELEBRATE OUR SUCCESSES AND PINPOINT AREAS OF NEEDED ATTENTION.
