CONTINUE TO MANAGE REPLACEMENT WATER PROGRAMS IN CENTRAL COAST AND CENTRAL VALLEY.CONTINUE SUPPORT FOR THIRD PARTY WATER QUALITY COALITIONS, GROUNDWATER MONITORING, GROWER COMPLIANCE IN CENTRAL COAST AND CENTRAL VALLEYCONTINUE TO RESEARCH AND FIELD TEST TOOLS THAT REDUCE AND PREVENT NEONICOTENOIDS AND PYRETHROIDS FROM LEAVING FARMS AND ENTERING WATERWAYS.CONTINUE TO DEVELOP EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AIDING GROWERS AND APPLICATORS TO IMPROVE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES.

IN 2023, THE ORGANIZATION ACHIEVED SIGNIFICANT PROGRAM MILESTONES AIMED AT ADVANCING WATER QUALITY AND COMMUNITY EDUCATION. IT WAS AWARDED BOTH THE NOW AND WETA 2 GRANTS, BOLSTERING ITS RESOURCES TO DRIVE IMPACTFUL PROJECTS. THE ORGANIZATION SUCCESSFULLY EXPANDED THE VALLEY WATER COLLABORATIVE (VWC) BEYOND THE INITIAL TWO BASINS, BROADENING ITS REACH AND IMPACT. ADDITIONALLY, A VIDEO ON NITRATE CONTROL WAS DEVELOPED TO EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY, HIGHLIGHTING THE ORGANIZATIONS COMMITMENT TO RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT WATER SAFETY. ANOTHER KEY FOCUS WAS THE DEVELOPMENT AND PILOT TESTING OF DU SOFTWARE FOR WETA 2, WHICH BECAME OPERATIONAL THIS YEAR. CURES STAFF AND COLLABORATORS ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN TESTING THE SOFTWARE, UNDERSCORING THE ORGANIZATION'S DEDICATION TO INNOVATION AND COMMUNITY HEALTH.
