THE KNOX COUNTY COMMUNITY CENTER (KCCC) IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION MADE UP OF 11 BOARD MEMBERS OF OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY. THEY HAVE BEEN FUNCTIONING AS AN OFFICIAL BOARD SINCE JANUARY 2008, VOLUNTEERING THEIR TIME TO MEET THEIR GOAL OF BRINGING A COMMUNITY CENTER TO KNOX COUNTY. THE COMPLETED CENTER IS A 10,000 SQ. FOOT STRUCTURE. THE KNOX COUNTY COMMUNITY CENTER IS A TOBACCO FREE FACILITY. COMMUNITY CENTER PROGRAMMING IS AIMED AT EDUCATING EVERY RESIDENT OF KNOX COUNTY AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES ON THE THREE PRONGS OF HEALTHY LIVING; FITNESS, NUTRITION, AND TOBACCO- FREEDOM.
