FREEDOM 4/24 FOCUSED ON BOTH PREVENTION AND RESTORATION IN 2022. AS PART OF OUR CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT, WE FILMED AND DISSEMINATED A 25-MINUTE CONDENSED PREVENTION VIDEO ALONG WITH A FACILITATORS GUIDE IN BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH FOR ADULTS AND YOUTH. MEANWHILE, FREEDOM 4/24 CONTINUED TO DEVELOP ITS OWN PREVENTION EDUCATION CURRICULUM, FOCUSING FIRST ON COMPLETING CONTENT FOR GRADES 4-10 WITH THE GOAL OF IMPLEMENTING THE FOLLOWING YEAR. FREEDOM 4/24 COLLABORATED WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT TO CONDUCT STINGS AND PROVIDE COMFORT AND RESOURCES TO RESCUED VICTIMS. AS A MEMBER OF VIRGINIA COALITION AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING, FREEDOM 4/24 ADVOCATED FOR POLICIES THAT SUPPORT SAFE HARBOR FOR MINORS, MANDATORY EDUCATION FOR SPECIFIC OCCUPATIONS I.E. MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS. THE ORGANIZATION, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SPORTS OUTREACH, ALSO OPENED A THRIFT STORE, MISSION THRIFT, TO INCREASE PARTNER COLLABORATION, PROVIDE MENTORSHIP AND JOBS FOR AT RISK INDIVIDUALS.
