JVIS MISSION IS TO BRING FREEDOM, JUSTICE, AND RESTORATION TO MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN SUFFERING FROM HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND OTHER EXTREME INJUSTICE BY PARTNERING WITH LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS AND GLOBAL STAKEHOLDERS.

JVI SEEKS TO 1) SECURE FREEDOM, JUSTICE AND RESTORATION FOR VICTIMS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND OTHER FORMS OF EXTREME INJUSTICE, 2) EMPOWER LOCAL PARTNERS TO COMBAT HUMAN TRAFFICKING, AND 3) STRENGTHEN JUSTICE SYSTEMS TO ENSURE THE VULNERABLE ARE PROTECTED. TO DO THIS JVI PROVIDES GRANTS AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS TO DEVELOP JUSTICE HUBS, WHICH ARE COMMUNITY BASED NETWORKS STAFFED WITH LAWYERS AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS, CONNECTING AND RESOURCING GRASSROOTS LEADERS, FAITH COMMUNITIES, BUSINESSES, AND KEY PUBLIC OFFICIALS AND AGENCIES TO FIGHT INJUSTICE. THESE JUSTICE HUBS OPERATE DEEP AT THE COMMUNITY LEVEL IN HOTSPOT AREAS WHERE VICTIMS OF EXTREME INJUSTICE ARE EXPERIENCING EXPLOITATION AND ABUSE. JVI ALSO PROMOTES COORDINATION AND COLLABORATION ACROSS JUSTICE HUBS AND WITH ORGANIZATIONS WORKING IN OTHER COMMUNITIES, CATALYZING AND STRENGTHENING WIDER JUSTICE MOVEMENTS.(SEE SCHEDULE O)
