ASSIST FAMILIES AND ORPHANAGES SO THAT THEY ARE BETTER EQUIPPED TO PROVIDE FOR THE PHYSICAL, SPIRITUAL, AND EMOTIONAL NEEDS OF THE ORPHANS IN THEIR CARE, AS WELL AS PROVIDE PSYCHOLOGICAL, SOCIAL WORK AND OTHER TRAINING AND SUPPORT TO FAMILIES DESIRING TO FOSTER OR ADOPT IN PANAMA.
AN ORPHANAGE HOME IN PANAMA CURRENTLY HOUSING CHILREN WITHOUT PARENTAL CARE OF WHOM ALL HAVE SPECIAL MEDICAL NEEDS. THIS IS THE FIRST ORPHANAGE AND THERAPY CENTER OF THIS TYPE IN THE COUNTRY OF PANAMA AND WILL CONTINUE TO GROW IN CAPACITY TO HOUSE 55 SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN WITHOUT PARENTAL CARE, WHILE PROVIDING THERAPY TO OTHER SIMILARLY SITUATED CHILDREN NOT HOUSED ON-SITE.
