DURING 2022, IN CONNELL PARK NEIGHBORHOOD OF SCRANTON, VIM STRENGTHENED THE FOOD PANTRY OPERATIONS, STARTED A GARDENING PROGRAM AT THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, AND ORGANIZED THE HEALTHY VILLAGE FAIR. VIM PAINTED AN 1,800 SQUARE FOOT MURAL THAT CELEBRATED FOREST CITY AS A FUN AND WELCOMING PLACE FOR OUTDOOR RECREATION. VIM LED THE STORY GATHERING TEAM FOR THE CARBONDALE'S HEART & SOUL INITIATIVE. VIM STARTED THE ELECTRIC CITY TRAILS INITIATIVE, PAINTING FOOTPRINTS ON SIDEWALKS TO CONNECT THE LACKAWANNA RIVER HERITAGE TRAIL WITH SCRANTON'S HISTORIC IRON FURNACES.
