PROVIDING HOUSING FOOD CLOTHING AND HEALTHCARE TO ORPHANED OR MOTHERLESS CHILDREN IN GEITA TANZANIA AND THE SURROUNDING AREA THROUGH NEEMA HOUSE TANZANIA. ALSO PROVIDING REUNIFICATION SERVICES WITH EXTENDED OR ADOPTIVE FAMILIES WHEN POSSIBLE. DUE TO THEIR AGES, MOST OF THE CHILDREN RECEIVING HOUSING SERVICES DO NOT ATTEND SCHOOL. NEEMA HOUSE DOES HAVE AN ON-SITE PRESCHOOL FOR THE CHILDREN FOCUSING ON BASIC LIFE SKILLS, FINE MOTOR DEVELOPMENT AND CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS. DURING 2021, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL, HOUSING OR MEDICAL SUPPORT BASED ON EMERGENCY NEED TO 36 CHILDREN, 11 CHILDREN WERE RETURNED TO FAMILY, AND 5 CHILDREN WERE ADOPTED OR IDENTIFIED BY ADOPTIVE FAMILIES. THROUGH THE NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAM, MAISHA MATTERS, 130 CHILDREN PER WEEK RECEIVED NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT, PARENT EDUCATION AND HOME VISIT CASE MANAGEMENT. A TOTAL OF 330 CHILDREN WERE SERVED BY THIS PROGRAM IN 2021.
