PROVIDING HOUSING FOOD CLOTHING AND HEALTHCARE TO ORPHANED OR MOTHERLESS CHILDREN IN GEITA TANZANIA AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. ALSO PROVIDING REUNIFICATION SERVICES WITH EXTENDED OR ADOPTIVE FAMILIES WHEN POSSIBLE THROUGH NEEMA HOUSE TANZANIA.

PROVIDING HOUSING FOOD CLOTHING AND HEALTHCARE TO ORPHANED OR MOTHERLESS CHILDREN IN GEITA TANZANIA AND THE SURROUNDING AREA THROUGH NEEMA HOUSE TANZANIA. ALSO PROVIDING REUNIFICATION SERVICES WITH EXTENDED OR ADOPTIVE FAMILIES WHEN POSSIBLE. DUE TO THEIR AGES, MOST OF THE CHILDREN RECEIVING HOUSING SERVICES DO NOT ATTEND SCHOOL. NEEMA HOUSE DOES HAVE AN ON-SITE PRESCHOOL FOR THE CHILDREN FOCUSING ON BASIC LIFE SKILLS, FINE MOTOR DEVELOPMENT AND CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS. DURING 2022, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL, HOUSING OR MEDICAL SUPPORT BASED ON EMERGENCY NEED TO 46 CHILDREN, 17 CHILDREN WERE RETURNED TO FAMILY, AND 7 CHILDREN WERE PLACED IN FOSTER CARE PLACEMENTS APPROVED BY THE SOCIAL WELFARE COMMISSIONER WITH THE GOAL OF ADOPTION. THROUGH THE NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAM, MAISHA MATTERS, 274 CHILDREN PER WEEK RECEIVED NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT, PARENT EDUCATION AND HOME VISIT CASE MANAGEMENT. A TOTAL OF 320 CHILDREN WERE SERVED BY THESE PROGRAMS IN 2022.
