SUPPORT OF RWANDA GIRLS INITIATIVE NGO: THE SCHOOL IS AT MAXIMUM CAPACITY WITH 275 STUDENTS IN GRADES 10-12. THE CLASS OF 2023 GRADUATED IN JUNE 2023, WITH OUR TENTH GRADUATION. WE CURRENTLY HAVE APPROXIMATELY 97%+ OF OUR STUDENTS CONTINUE ON TO UNIVERSITY. THE SCHOOL IS CONSIDERED ONE OF THE TOP, IF NOT THE TOP SCHOOL IN RWANDA AND IS SERVING AS A MODEL FOR THE COUNTRY. WE CONTINUE TO STRIVE TO EDUCATE THE WHOLE GIRL, OFFERING MANY EXTRACURRICULAR OPPORTUNITIES SUCH AS DEBATE, CHOIR, COMMUNITY SERVICE AND YOGA TO NAME JUST A FEW. ADDITIONALLY, THERE IS A FULLY OPERATIONAL FARM WHICH IN ADDITION TO SUPPLYING THE SCHOOL WITH FRESH FRUITS, VEGETABLES, EGGS AND HONEY ALSO SERVES AS AN "OUTDOOR CLASSROOM" ALLOWING STUDENTS TO PURSUE RESEARCH IN AGRICULTURE, SCIENCE AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP.


SCHOLARSHIP GRANT SUPPORT: A GRANT TO SUPPORT ALUMNAE STUDYING IN THE UNITED STATES. WHILE THESCHOLARSHIPS DO NOT COVER 100% OF THE COSTS OF ATTENDANCE, EACH ONE IS SUBSTANTIAL ENOUGH TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR THE RECEIVING INSTITUTIONS TO "CLOSE THE GAP" USING THEIR OWN FINANCIAL AID DOLLARS.
