LAMENESS PREVENTION RESEARCH & EDUCATION 1) THE PURPOSES OF THIS PROGRAM ARE TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON SUBJECTS USEFUL TO INDIVIDUALS AND BENEFICIAL TO THE COMMUNITY, ADVANCE EDUCATION AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, AND SUPPORT OTHER INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS CONDUCTING CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES. WE FURTHER OUR PURPOSES UNDER THIS PROGRAM BY GATHERING AND ORGANIZING INFORMATION THROUGH RESEARCH REGARDING LAMENESS IN HORSES. WE WILL THEN DISTRIBUTE THE INFORMATION TO THE EQUINE INDUSTRY TO ULTIMATELY HELP TREAT AND PREVENT LAMENESS IN HORSES.
ZOO HOOFSTOCK TRIM PROGRAM 2)THE ZOO HOOFSTOCK TRIM PROGRAM (ZHTP)IS DEDICATED TO CREATING AN AWARENESS OF THE IMPORTANCE OF HOOFCARE IN ZOOLOGICAL FACILITIES. THROUGH EDUCATIONAL COURSES ON MAINTENANCE AND PREVENTIVE HOOFCARE, ZHTP WILL ENABLE ZOO STAFF TO BETTER AID IN THE COMFORT AND SOUNDNESS OF THEIR HOOVED AMBASSADORS.
