OUR MISSION IS TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY AND ENRICH THE CULTURAL LIFE OF OUR CITY THROUGH VARIOUS MUSIC ENSEMBLES AND CONCERTS. THE MISSION IS TO SUPPORT THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE MUSICAL ARTS AND SERVE THE COMMUNITY BY EDUCATING THE PUBLIC, INSPIRING NEW GENERATIONS OF BOTH AUDIENCES AN MUSICIANS, GIVING YOUNG MUSICIANS AND OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE SOCIETY, AND PROVIDING ESTABLISHED PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS OPPORTUNITY TO RECOMMIT THEMSELVES TO MUSIC EDUCATION AND TO PURSUE NEW DIRECTIONS IN THEIR OWN ART.

OUTREACH ACTIVITIES BY THE JOYE IN AIKEN STUDENTS IN THE LOCAL AREA TO INCLUDE ARTIST RESIDENCIES, IN-SCHOOL INTERACTIVE PERFORMANCES, MASTER CLASSES, CLINICS, PRECONCERT EVENTS,A YOUNG PEOPLE'S CONCERT, AND JAZZ CAMP.
