CHILDREN OF THE VALLEY IS A FREE REFERRAL BASED AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM FOR UNDER-RESOURCED YOUTH IN SKAGIT COUNTY, SERVING OVER 200 STUDENTS ANNUALLY. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MOUNT VERNON SD, SEDRO-WOOLLEY SD AND BURLINGTON SD, COV PROVIDES A DAILY STRUCTURED PROGRAM CONSISTING OF ACADEMIC ASSISTANCE, SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING, ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES AND FAMILY SUPPORT.
