SOUND DISCIPLINE IS WORKING FOR A WORLD WHERE CHILDREN KNOW THEY BELONG AND CAN LEARN AND THRIVE. WE PARTNER WITH EDUCATORS, ORGANIZATIONS, AND FAMILIES TO TRANSFORM SCHOOLS INTO EQUITABLE LEARNING COMMUNITIES.

SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS AND SERVICES: SOUND DISCIPLINE OFFERS OUR TRAUMA-INFORMED RESTORATIVE PRACTICE TRAININGS, COACHING, DATA TEAMS, AND CONSULTING FOR K-12 EDUCATORS IN SCHOOL-SPONSORED AND PARTICIPANT-SPONSORED SETTINGS FOR ALL ADULTS WHO CARE FOR CHILDREN. SOUND DISCIPLINE OFFERED 20 WHOLE SCHOOL AND DATA TEAM PARTNERSHIPS PLUS SUPPLEMENTAL TRAININGS. DATA TEAMS USE SCHOOL LEVEL DISCIPLINE DATA AND MONITORED AND EVALUATED TRAUMA INFORMED INTERVENTIONS. SOUND DISCIPLINE ALSO PROVIDES CONSULTATION FOR WORKING WITH STUDENTS IN EACH SCHOOL WITH THE MOST CHALLENGING BEHAVIORS USING A TRAUMA-INFORMED, STRENGTHS-BASED APPROACH. ALL TOLD, SOUND DISCIPLINE TRAINED APPROXIMATELY 800 EDUCATORS SERVING MORE THAN 11,000 STUDENTS.


TRAUMA INFORMED PRACTICES TRAINING: PROVIDED TRAINING IN PRACTICAL TOOLS FOR BUILDING RESILIENCE FOR EDUCATORS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN WASHINGTON AND OREGON. THE TEAM OFFERED 19 SEPARATE TRAININGS SERVING MORE THAN 500 EDUCATORS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS. DUE TO COVID-19 SERVICE DELIVERY WAS ON VIRTUAL ONLINE PLATFORMS.
