OUR MISSION IS TO FUND KINDERGARTEN THROUGH GRADE 12 STUDENTS WITH SCHOLARSHIPS TO ENABLE THEM TO EXPERIENCE CAMPS IN ACADEMICS, ARTS, AND SPORTS. THE NUMBER AND AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIPS SHALL BE DETERMINED ANNUALLY.

SHUTDOWNS AND RESTRICTIONS CAUSED BY THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC CONTINUED THROUGH 2021, RESTRICTING OPENINGS FOR CHILDREN TO BE ABLE TO ATTEND CAMPS. DESPITE THESE RESTRICTIONS THE DOUGLAS DICENZO MEMORIAL CAMP FUND WAS ABLE TO HELP 62 DIFFERENT CHILDREN ATTEND 25 DIFFERENT CAMPS, AND HELP FUND AN ADDITONAL CAMP PROGRAM FOR YOUNG GIRLS AT RISK. FORTUNATELY FUND RAISING PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES ALREADY IN PLACE CONTINUED SUCCESSFULLY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THE NEED FOR HELP SENDING CHILDREN TO CAMP IN 2022 IS ALREADY SIGNIFICANTLY GREATER THAN NORMAL, AS THE RESTRICTIONS CAUSED BY THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ARE RELAXED.
