OUR MISSION IS TO FUND KINDERGARTEN THROUGH GRADE 12 STUDENTS WITH SCHOLARSHIPS TO ENABLE THEM TO EXPERIENCE CAMPS IN ACADEMICS, ARTS, AND SPORTS. THE NUMBER AND AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIPS SHALL BE DETERMINED ANNUALLY.

MISSION:

TO PROVIDE THE BEST POSSIBLE HIGH PERFORMANCE YOUTH SKI RACING PROGRAM BY SUSTAINING A SUPPORTIVE, FAMILY-FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH OUR ATHLETES CAN GROW AND CHALLENGE THEMSELVES. WE PREPARE EACH ATHLETE TO COMPETE AT THEIR FULLEST POTENTIAL WHILE DEVELOPING A LIFE-LONG LOVE OF THE SPORT OF ALPINE SKIING.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in ice hockey, ice skating, alpine and cross-country skiing, sledding/tobogganing and other winter sports. Coaching; access to skating rinks, ski slopes or other facilities; sports equipment; and officials for competitions are generally included.

TO PROMOTE THE SPIRITUAL, SOCIAL, CULTURAL MORAL AND EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE MEMBERS OF THE MONTEVERDE MONTHLY MEETING OF THE RELIGIOUS SOCIETY OF FRIENDS AS WELL AS THE INHABITANTS OF THE SURROUNDING AREA. 2. TO PROMOTE PEACE AND SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC JUSTICE IN THE MONTEVERDE REGION, IN COSTA RICA, IN THE REST OF CENTRAL AMERICA, AND ELSEWHERE. 3. TO PROMOTE AMONG THE MEMBERS OF THE MONTEVERDE MONTHLY MEETING, THE RESIDENTS OF THE MONTEVERDE AREA, THE REST OF COSTA RICA AND ELSEWHERE, AN AWARENESS AND APPRECIATION OF THE NATURAL WORLD, CONSERVATION PRACTICES AND THE DEFENSE OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND THE ENVIRONMENT.

The goal of this organization is to develop, maintain and make available to the general public recreational areas which are equipped with athletic fields and courts, campgrounds, picnic areas and a variety of recreational trails such as bridle trails, hiking trails, off-the-road vehicle trails and snowmobile trails.
