THE WOMEN, INFANTS, AND CHILDREN PROGRAM SUBSIDIZES CERTAIN FOOD PRODUCTS AND PROVIDES NUTRITION EDUCATION FOR ELIGIBLE RECIPIENTS.
HEADSTART PROGRAM PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH, EDUCATIONAL, NUTRITIONAL, SOCIAL, AND OTHER DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES PRIMARILY TO ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED PRESCHOOL CHILDREN, INFANTS AND TODDLERS SO THAT THE CHILDREN WILL ATTAIN SCHOOL READINESS.
